HVAC TECHNICIAN

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, production oven burner systems, and process cooling equipment. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, limited production down time, and safety should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Servicing and repairing production oven burners systems and process cooling equipment.
Identifying and completing maintenance inspections and service on HVAC systems and production equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and production equipment.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Ensuring compliance with equipment standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.

Requirements:

Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician with a GasFitter# 3 or Gas Fitter# 2certificate.
Willingness to continue education in the HVAC field.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
Working knowledge of boilers systems and HVAC systems.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in reading electrical drawings and schematics.
Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice.
